City Manager B1om reported that in checking witn the Southern Pacific Company the minimum widtn that the Staie Railroad Cornmisaion required for a spur traek � -was twenty feet and tnat_the Southern Pacific �vas required to maintain the • area of�:the track and between the rails and on two feet on either side. No structure would be permitted on Bay Road except the rails. In view of thie, an easement twenty feet in width had been stated in the ordinance. Thie was the time for hearing of protests under Resolution of Intention No. 1945-3. � Tnere were no written protests. Councilman Granger asked if two bills which were up for payment had anytriing to do with the passage of this resolution. City Manager Blom replied that the two bille in question were for work done under Resolution of Intention No. 1945-2 and wae for repair work which was not properly assessable to property.
