<br /> quired by law, as appears from the affidavita of RALPH S, DODGE, LOUISE
<br /> tiVHITE, and MAXINE 3NYDER, now on file in the office of the Clerk of said City

<br /> WHEREA9, at the time and place last herein mentioned, NO objections of
<br /> any kind were made againet said asaesement; and
<br /> ' WHEREAS, said Council of the City of Redwood City has now acquired
<br /> juriadiction thereon;
<br /> THEREFORE BE IT RE30LVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, in
<br /> tne County of 3an Mateo, State of California, that the assessment abone men-
<br /> tioned for sidewalks and other street work done under Resolution of Intention
<br /> No. 1945-3 hereinbefore referred to nerein, be, and the eame is hereby ap-
<br /> proved and adopted and the superintendent of Streets of said City of Redwood
<br /> City is nereby directed to attach a warrant thereto and deliver s�ne to the
<br /> contractor, ae required by law,
<br /> • Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a

<br /> seconded by Councilman Armstrong, Under the question, Councilman Granger
<br /> ' asked if any of the employees now on tne payroll would be affected by this
<br /> resolution, City Manager Blom advised that the resolution changed only the
<br /> maximwn age for employees in the above mentioned poeitions and could not be
<br /> retro?ctive but would apply in future examinatione. On roll call, the
<br /> resolution wae unanimouely adopted with Councilman Anderson absent, �
