<br /> and eaid Couricil does hereby declare and determine that the places herein-
<br /> before mentioned are suitable and proper places for nolding said general ,
<br /> municipal election, and are tne polliing placee wnere elections are usually
<br /> held in said City, and the several pereons appointed as election officere
<br /> as aforesaid 'nave been found and are hereby declared to be qualified for
<br /> their respective poaitiona, �,� required �y 1avr, wnd they are hereby a�point-
<br /> ed such election officers to conduct eaid general�municipal election and
<br /> to conetitute such Board of Election, and eaid Board of Election and said
<br /> election officers shall conduct and are hereby directed to conduct eaid
<br /> general municipal election as by law and this resolution provided, and
<br /> to canvass the votes to be given and cast as said general municipal elec-
<br /> tion andto make and deliver returns thereof to the Council of the City of
<br /> Redwood City; and
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Redwood City
<br /> shall meet at their regular place of ineeting in the City Hall on Middle-
<br /> field Road in said City of Redwood City at the hour of 8;00 o!clock P, M, •
<br /> on April 16, 1946, the Tuesday next follo��ing the day of eaid general
<br /> municipal election to canvass said returns and declare the result of said
<br /> general municipal election; and
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RE30LVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that
<br /> at said general municipal election to be held on the 9th day of April, 1946,
<br /> in the City of Redwood City, the polls ehall be opened at 7;00 o'clock in
<br /> . the morning of the day of said general muni'cipal election and shall remain
<br /> open until 7:00 o'clock of the evening of eaid day, vrhen the polls shall

<br /> , BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of tne City of Redwood City that
<br /> all acta and things required by law or ordinance or thia resolution, to be
<br /> done by any officer of said City of Redwood City for the purpose of holding
<br /> eaid general municipal election in said City on the 9th day of April, 1946,
<br /> be and the same ahall be done and all officers of the City of Redwood City
<br /> having any duty to perform under the laws of the State of California, or
<br /> ordinances of said City of Redwood City, or this resolution, in reference
<br /> to said general municipal election hereinbefore referred to, are directed '
<br /> to perform such duties in time, form and manner, as required by such lawa,
<br /> ordinances or resolution,
<br /> Passed and adopted by the Council of tne Citq of Redwood City at a
<br /> regular meeting thereof, held on the 4th day of March, 1946, by the follow-
