V1, HILTON • Mayor of the City of Redwood City Councilman McNulty offered the above reaolution appointing elective officials and fixing polling places and moved its ado�tion, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. On roll call, resolution wae unanimously adopted, � Councilman Granger aeked in what order the Charter amendments would be � placed on the ballot. City Attorney �cCarthy advised that they would be placed on the ballot in the order in whicri they came before the Council, Bids were opened for official advertising. There wae only one bid received, that of the Redv�ood City Tribune. The bid follows: , Price per "squa.re"; First insertion: �1.00. Second and subsequent inser- tions: 50¢ per equare per insertion, Twenty copies on newsprint paper ' of any ordinance or other official advertising and two copies of each ordinance imnrinted on paper furnished by the city for the records of the city clerk and city attorney are to be furnished withour additional charge. Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, that the bid of the Red�vood City Tribune be accepted for the period of March 1, 1946 to February 28, 1947, Motion passed unanimously, In regard to the adoption of the final map of the David Holder Poplar Subdivis- • ion, City Clerk Dodge read letter received from the San 3iateo County TitiE Company certifying,that David Holder a.nd Clara L. Holder are.the only par- ties at the present time �rho have a recorded interest in Lots 54 and 55, &fap of the Reese Subdivision of a part of the Redwrood Farm, excepting from said Lot 54 so much thereof as had previously been conveyed to the City and ' County of San Fra.ncisco. The title company further.advised that all city and county taxes have been paid. Councilman Anderson moved, eeconded by Councilman Armstrong, that tne letter from the title company be filed, Motion pa.sses unanimously. ' Inasmuch as a letter from the bank had not been recived, Councilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman Fletcher, that the matter of adopting the fina'1 map of Poplar Subdiviaion be held over until the adjour.ned meeting of March 11, Motion passed unaimously. Acting City Engineer Ra.ndlett reported on the matter of propoaed street improve- ments on Center, Park, Linden, Madrone, Cypress and Hesa Road.
