Noc;formal action was taken on tne matter, although Mr. Rollins was aseured ' that permission was granted to conduct the whist games. Communication was received from the Redwood City Recreation Commission requesting that jurisdiction of trie Yacht Harbor be asaigned to some other authority, Councilman Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman Armatrong, that the re- ' quest be granted, Under the question, Councilman Britschgi asked if the City Manager had a report to make in regard to the matter. City Manager Blom was of the opinion some consideration ehould be given as to who is to be respon- sible for the operation of the Yacht Harbor, Councilman Fletcher amended his motion to refer tne matter to the City Manager for a report at the nex� , meeting, seconded by Councilman Armstrong, Motion passed unanimously. � Communication was received from R. E. Mott, D,V.�S, advising that he wish.ed to con- struct a small animal nospital on Elamino Real t�etween Broadway and the . Rtherton city lirnits and asking if thie would be permitted, City Attorney McCarthy referred to the ordinance governing keeping of dogs and advised that it' was unlawful to carry on a dog fancier business within the incorporated limits of the city, Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded be Councilman Arrnstrong, that the City Manager be instructed to notify the applicani that ' the terms of the ordinance prohibit the establishment of such a business within tne incorporated limits of the city. Motion passed unanimously, City Manager Blom reported that in rega.rd to the question raised by Councilman McNulty at,the meeting of March 4th relative to petty cash voucher refund of �50 to Gene Gabriel, tha.t t�he refund was made to Mr. Gabriel due to the fact that he had posted a deposit of y50 at the time he applied for water service. This deposit represented approximately twice the amount of one • month's water bill. Under the regulations of the water department, the deposit is left for one year after which, if the account is kept in good order, the deposit is refunded. It was on this basis that the refund had been made to Mr. Gabriel. The communication was ordered filed, Communication was received from the Peninsula League of-California Cities an- ' nouncing meeting fro Thuraday, March 21st, at the California Golf Club at Baden. The Clerk noted those signigying their,intention of being present. Councilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, filing of affid�,- vit of publica.�ion of ordinance providing for the sale of �200,000 bonds. Motion passed una.nimously. ' Councilman Armstrong offered ordinance and moved its adoption providing for the sale of �Z00;000 Bonds. Tne motion wa.s seconded by Councilman P�cNulty and on roll call ordinance v✓as unanimously adopted riith Mayor Hilton and Councilma.n Anderson absent.
