City Manager Blom was <br /> of the opinion some consideration ehould be given as to who is to be respon- <br /> sible for the operation of the Yacht Harbor, Councilman Fletcher amended <br /> his motion to refer tne matter to the City Manager for a report at the nex� <br /> , meeting, seconded by Councilman Armstrong, Motion passed unanimously. � <br /> Communication was received from R. E. Mott, D,V.�S, advising that he wish.ed to con- <br /> struct a small animal nospital on Elamino Real t�etween Broadway and the . <br /> Rtherton city lirnits and asking if thie would be permitted, City Attorney <br /> McCarthy referred to the ordinance governing keeping of dogs and advised that <br /> it' was unlawful to carry on a dog fancier business within the incorporated <br /> limits of the city, Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded be Councilman <br /> Arrnstrong, that the City Manager be instructed to notify the applicani that ' <br /> the terms of the ordinance prohibit the establishment of such a business <br /> within tne incorporated limits of the city. Motion passed unanimously, <br /> City Manager Blom reported that in rega.rd to the question raised by Councilman <br /> McNulty at,the meeting of March 4th relative to petty cash voucher refund <br /> of �50 to Gene Gabriel, tha.t t�he refund was made to Mr. Gabriel due to the <br /> fact that he had posted a deposit of y50 at the time he applied for water <br /> service. This deposit represented approximately twice the amount of one • <br /> month's water bill. Under the regulations of the water department, the <br /> deposit is left for one year after which, if the account is kept in good <br /> order, the deposit is refunded. It was on this basis that the refund had <br /> been made to Mr. Gabriel. The communication was ordered filed, <br /> Communication was received from the Peninsula League of-California Cities an- ' <br /> nouncing meeting fro Thuraday, March 21st, at the California Golf Club at <br /> Baden. The Clerk noted those signigying their,intention of being present. <br /> Councilman Armstrong moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, filing of affid�,- <br /> vit of publica.�ion of ordinance providing for the sale of �200,000 bonds. <br /> Motion passed una.nimously. ' <br /> Councilman Armstrong offered ordinance and moved its adoption providing for the <br /> sale of �Z00;000 Bonds.
