RD-97-12 RD 97-12 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOFMENT AGENCY OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RECEIVING THE PROPOSED <br /> FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN <br /> FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2 AND <br /> AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TRANSMITTAL OF THE <br /> PROPOSED FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AFFECTED TAXING <br /> AGENCIES AND SUBMITTAL TO THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION FOR REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 97-06 the Redevelopment Agency Board <br />received the Preliminary Plan for the Fourth Amendment Sub-Area and <br />directed that an amendment to the Redevelopment Plan be prepared; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City has <br />prepared a Fourth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Section <br />33000 et seq., Health and Safety Code) provides in Section 33328 that prior to <br />the publication of the notice of the joint Agency/City Council public hearing <br />on the proposed Fourth Amendment, the Agency shall consult with each <br />affected taxing agency with respect to the proposed Fourth Amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law provides <br />in Section 33356 that prior to a joint public hearing on the proposed Fourth <br />Amendment, Agency shall submit the proposed Fourth Amendment to the <br />Planning Commission for its report and recommendation; AND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law further <br />provides, in Section 33385(f), that the Agency shall consult with and obtain <br />the advice of persons and organizations within the area proposed to be added <br />to Redevelopment Project No. 2 by the proposed Fourth Amendment prior to <br />its submittal to the City Council. <br /> <br /> AK/DES: 7/21/97 <br /> RDA R~so Receiving 4th Amend <br /> <br /> <br />
