has certified the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Centre <br />Area Redevelopment Project as being in compliance with CEQA, found in <br />Public Resources Code Sections 21000, et. seq., and the State CEQA <br />Guidelines adopted by the Secretary of Resources; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency has determined that the <br />activity for which the real property described in Exhibit "A" is <br />being acquired is within the scope of the Final Environmental Impact <br />Report certified by the City Planning Commission in Resolution No. <br />89-01 and that, for purposes of CEQA, said Final Environmental Impact <br />Report adequately addresses and analyzes acquisition by the <br />Redevelopment Agency of real property within the boundaries of the <br />Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project <br />No. 2 for the purpose of redevelopment; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency further determines that <br />adoption of a resolution of necessity is not a "project" under Public <br />Resources Code Section 15378 and, therefore, is exempt from CEQA <br />requirements under Public Resources Code Section 15061(b)(1); and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency has determined that all <br />requirements of the CEQA and the Public Resources Code have been met; <br />and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND RESOLVED BY THE <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The real property and real property interests to be <br />acquired are described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and <br />incorporated by reference herein. <br /> <br />2. The public interest and necessity require the <br />implementation of the proposed Project, a public use, and that the <br /> <br /> (page 3 of 7) <br /> <br /> <br />
