RD-98-13 RD 98-13 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH <br /> THE REDWOOD CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR <br /> THE EXCHANGE OF PROPERTIES; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> THEREOF AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE DEED OF <br /> CONVEYANCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Agency") intends to acquire certain real property located at the corner of <br />Broadway Avenue and Jefferson Street (the "Broadway Avenue Property"), <br />Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Elementary School District (the "District") is <br />the owner of the Broadway Avenue Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the District is not willing to sell the Broadway Avenue <br />Property to the Agency or to any third party; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the District is willing to exchange the Broadway Avenue <br />Property for the real property located on Bradford Street (the "Bradford Street <br />Property") which is owned by the City of Redwood City ("City"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency desires to acquire the Broadway Avenue Property <br />from the District and convey the Bradford Street Property to the District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been provided to, and received by, the Board of the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, an agreement for the <br />exchange of the Bradford Street Property and Broadway Avenue Property with <br />the District; <br /> <br />F:~shared\Redwood\Council\ 1 <br />Reso--492 <br />FXS:rg <br />08/26/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
