purpose of redevelopment; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency further determines that the adoption of a resolution of necessity does <br />not in itself have adverse environmental consequences; nevertheless, the Agency has fully considered <br />the ultimate environmental consequences of the proposed project which would be facilitated by this <br />proceeding, as noted in the fourth recital; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency has determined that all requirements of the CEQA and the Public <br />Resources Code have been met; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the Code of Civil Procedure Section 1245.235, notice and an <br />opportunity to be heard was given to the person(s) shown on the last equalized county assessment role <br />as having an interest in the property which is the subject of this Resolution ("the subject property"); <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 7267.2 the owner of record of the subject <br />property was offered just compensation for the real property hereinafter described, and provided with <br />a proper Appraisal Summary Statement; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the acquisition of the subject property is necessary for redevelopment purposes as <br />part of the Redevelopment Plan and the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the public interest and necessity require the acquisition of the subject property <br />hereinafter described for a public use, namely redevelopment purposes; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency is authorized to exercise the power of eminent domain for the purpose <br />of taking such property by virtue of Health and Safety Code Sections 33342 and 33391 and Code of <br />Civil Procedure Sections 1230.020, 1240.010, 1240.110, 1240.120 and 1240.130; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid Redevelopment Plan and Project and all related documents are on <br />file in the offices of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City and are available for <br />review by the public, said documents being incorporated herein by reference as through set forth fully <br />herein. <br /> <br /> (page 2 of 5) <br /> <br /> 00-50 <br /> <br /> <br />
