6.1. L. - Page 17 <br /> payroll checks and/or direct deposits for San Carlos Fire Department sworn employees <br /> on October 14, 2011. <br /> B. San Carlos miscellaneous employee payroll will commence with the pay period <br /> beginning December 19, 2011 and ending January 1, 2012. During the implementation <br /> process, the City of Redwood City and the City of San Carlos will cooperate to initiate <br /> two payroll tests, consisting of one with a sample of timecards and one with full <br /> timecard entry, and confirm that the payroll is processing correctly prior to December <br /> 19, 2011. The City of Redwood City staff will coordinate with the City of San Carlos staff <br /> to validate general ledger accounts as necessary. Redwood City will issue the first <br /> payroll checks and/or direct deposits for San Carlos miscellaneous employees on <br /> January 6, 2012. <br /> 7. Initial Pavroll Svstem Trainin� <br /> Attachment 1 to this Scope of Services describes the one-time initial training to be provided by <br /> the City of Redwood City to the City of San Carlos in the use of the payroll software. <br /> 8. Further Addenda to Scope <br /> The City of Redwood City Finance Department and the City of San Carlos Administrative <br /> Services Department will develop further written procedures to define the allocation of <br /> responsibilities of their respective staff inembers under this Agreement, which will be amended <br /> from time to time. The City Managers of Redwood City and San Carlos, respectively, have the <br /> authority to agree in writing to the content of these written procedures. <br />
