0 R D % N A N C E 2/24/97 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1130-297 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 32.7 AND 32.8 AND <br /> ADDING SECTIONS 2.11, 2.100, 2.108, AND 2.109 AND <br /> ARTICLE 38 TO ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE, RELATING TO WIRELESS <br /> COMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Section 32.7 of Ordinance No. 1130, the <br />Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, as <br />amended, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 32.7 Permitted Exceptions of Heiqht <br /> Limitations. Maximum height limitations set forth <br /> elsewhere in this Ordinance shall not apply to: <br /> <br /> "a. Church spires, belfries, cupolas, domes, fire and <br /> hose towers, windmills, chimneys, flag poles, parapet <br /> walls, and television reception antennas not exceeding <br /> 24 inches in diameter or 3-1/2 square feet in area, <br /> elevator penthouses, and mechanical equipment. <br /> <br /> "b. Places of public assembly, churches, schools, and <br /> other permitted public and quasi-public buildings, <br /> provided that for each one foot by which the height of <br /> such building exceeds the maximum height otherwise <br /> permitted in the district, its side and rear yard <br /> setbacks shall be increased in width or depth by an <br /> additional foot over the side and rear setbacks <br /> otherwise required for the district. In no event shall <br /> the height of such building exceed 75 feet." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. Section 32.8 of the abovementioned <br />Ordinance No. 1130 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
