., •r <br /> B. Duties and Resaonsibilities of Partner Orqanization. <br /> Partner Organization shall: <br /> i. For Allies on Public Allies Silicon Valley/San Francisco's <br /> payroll, pay the following to the Public Allies Silicon .Valley/San Francisco: (a) a <br /> contribution of $15,777 per Allv for orqanizations whose overall budaet is $750,000 or <br /> areater and $13.503 per Ally for organizations whose overall budget is less than <br /> $750,000. These funds are to be used by Public Allies Silicon Valley/San Francisco as <br /> part of Ally's stipend pursuant to Section I(A)(iii) and Section II(A); <br /> ii. Partner Organization must issue a check to Public Allies <br /> Silicon Valley/San Francisco in the amount of $10,518 three times durinq the 2011-2012 <br /> proqram vear. This amount is due on the following schedule: October 1. 2011, <br /> December 1, 2011, and Februarv 1, 2012. <br /> iii. Permit each Ally to participate in the AmeriCorps approved <br /> health insurance plan, or cover each Ally under its own health insurance plan, in which <br /> case a Partner Organization shall be reimbursed up to $1.000 over the ten month Term <br /> of Partner Organization's cost by Public Allies Silicon Valley/San Francisco from private <br /> funds and the federal grant pursuant to Section I(A)(iii). Such Partner Organization <br /> sponsored health insurance plan must meet the minimum benefits required by the <br /> Corporation for National and Community Service which are attached to this Agreement <br /> (see Appendix B); <br /> iv. Accept from Public Allies Silicon Valley/San Francisco <br /> information regarding potential Allies, evaluate their suitability for the Position in good <br /> faith and, after evaluating a reasonable number of Allies, use its best efforts to select an , <br /> Ally for the Position for the Term; <br /> v. For so long as Ally remains with Partner Organization, permit <br /> Ally to attend, with full compensation; off-site training for one business day every week <br /> of the Term as well as other AmeriCorps or other Public Allies Sificon Valley/San <br /> Francisco required events, including, but not limited core, mid-year and year-end <br /> retreats, and service days as outlined on the program year calendar; <br /> vi. Provide Public Allies Silicon Valley/San Francisco with a <br /> clear position description as requested by Public Allies <br /> vii. Use the agreed upon position description in providing initial <br /> orientation to the Ally during his/her first week at the partner organization <br /> viii. Provide the Ally with a Supervisor or functional equivalent <br /> ("Supervisor') that will provide guidance and coaching for Ally in fulfilling duties of the <br /> Position and use its best efforts, with the aid of Public Allies Silicon Valley/San <br /> Francisco, to give necessary skills training applicable to the Position; <br /> Public Allies Partner Organization Agreement 2011-2012 . 3 <br />
