EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> DEFINITIONS <br /> Ciry City of Redwood City <br /> County San Mateo County Health System, Environmental Health Services <br /> Division <br /> MRP Municipal regional stormwater NPDES pernut prescribes the inspection, <br /> follow up, enforcement, recordkeeping, reporting, and inspector training <br /> requirements for inspecting businesses and other facilities; as well as <br /> other muriicipal stormwater permit requirements. The MRP includes any <br /> administtative extension to the tune period covered by the MRP and any <br /> amendmenu and reissuances of the MRP. <br /> SMCWPPP San Mateo Countywide Water Pollution Prevention Program operates <br /> under the auspices of the City/County Association of Govemments of <br /> San Mateo County to implement MRP compliance activities that can be <br /> nnplemented more cost-effectively at the countywide level. <br /> BMPs Best Management Practices aze any program, technology, process, siting <br /> criteria, operating method, measwe, or device, which controls, prevents, <br /> or reduces pollution. <br /> Illicit Discharges Dischazges of non-stormwater that are disallowed by the MRP. <br /> CII Commercial, Industrial, Illicit Dischazge Control Subcommittee of <br /> SMC WPPP. <br /> Regional Water Boazd San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Boazd, which is one <br /> of the nine geographically-based regional water boazds under the State <br /> Water Resources Control Boazd. <br /> MS4 Municipal sepazate storm sewer system owned by a public agency. This <br /> includes a stormwater conveyance or system of conveyances including <br /> roads with drainage systems, municipal streeu, catch basins, curbs, <br /> gutters, ditches, man-made channels, or storm drains as defined in CFR <br /> 122.26(b). <br /> Facility Includes business locations and operations and public agency owned <br /> installations, such as corporation yazds, that have a reasonable potential <br /> to contribute stormwater runoff pollution. <br /> 5 <br />
