If requested by the <br />95 City, a demonstrator unit shall be made available prior to award and provided at no additional cost <br />96 to the City. Time and amount of hours required for such evaluation shall be as determined by the <br />97 City.' <br />98 <br />99 01- SERATIONAL NOISE STANDARD: <br />100 Noise level shall be in conformance with standards established by Local, State and Federal <br />'101 Agencies. City personnel for noise .requirements may test each unit delivered before the unit is <br />102 accepted. <br />103 <br />•104 HOSE AND WIRING ROUTING, 14ARDWARE REQUIREMENTS: <br />105 All hoses and wiring shall have adequate protective covers wherever there Js a possibility of <br />106 contact with any other components. Separators shall be used where applicable. No tape or. <br />107 adhesive fasteners will be accepted. All hoses, wiring and pipes shall be routed to be clear of-all <br />108 heat sources and shall be protected frorn any present or potential source of snags, abrasions or <br />109 sharp edges. All hydraulic lines and hose shall be specifically manufactured for hydraulic use. if <br />110 any wiring for any lamps are routed through any tool compartment, these wires shall be enclosed <br />111 in steel. All fasteners (nut, bolts, rivets & etc.) shall be grade 6 or better with a rust inhibiting <br />112 coating. Severe application must have grade 8. <br />113 <br />114 SWITCHES, LABELS: <br />'115 All toggle and push button switches shall be marine type with additional rubber boots. All controls, <br />116 warning gauges and valves sliall be marked -as to function with stamped or engraved laminated <br />117 plastic, stainless steel or aluminum labels. These. labels shall be attached by aluminum and /or <br />1'18 stainless steel rivets. <br />119 <br />120 • DELIVEI:Y REQUIREIVIEN T S: <br />121 Due to the fabrication design required on the body of this truck, we understand the potential for <br />122 build schedule delays. For this sweeper, we are setting the delivery schedule at not more than <br />123 365 days, or 12 months.
