Therefore, bidders shall clearly and completely <br />outline all areas needing such modifications. <br />GFNERALI T IES <br />To allow for manufacture's specific designs, and ensure a level of competitiveness, we have <br />left certain areas of our specifications general by design. In such cases, the items being <br />referred to may be general, but adherence to the'requested end product and /or result must be <br />met. This is especially important in areas where dimensions, capacities, grades of <br />steel, etc. are specified. <br />MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATION: <br />Complete manufactur'er's specification, published literature and photos or illustrations of unit <br />proposed, should be furnished with bid if they differ from these specifications. Only new models in <br />current production and in service that are catalogued by the manufacturer and for which printed <br />literature and specifications are available will be accepted. Bidders shall prepare and submit their <br />own proposals addressing each section, item or component of these specifications, indicating full <br />compliance without exception, or explaining in detail any exceptions, or deviations. Bidders must <br />be a factory authorized parts, ,service and warranty dealer. Bidders should not simply submit a <br />copy of these specifications if they differ from these specifications, nor shOLIld_they submit copies <br />of manufacturer. or third party quotations as a response to tile City's bid solicitation. An MSDS <br />(Material Safety Data Sheet) shall be supplied for all fluids used. <br />MANUFACTURER'S STANDARD EQUIPMENT: <br />All equipment and components listed as standard by file manufacturer for model quoted shall be <br />furnished whether or not such items are detailed herein, e.g., special wrenches, tool hits, etc. <br />Optional equipment as necessary to meet -the following requirements of this specification shall <br />also be supplied. Should the requirements as specified not comply, the manufacturer is required <br />to re- figure and revise the specifications to meet all laws, rules and regulations where it applies to <br />Items such as tile. ratings of axles, tires, rims, brakes, batteries, cooling capacity, etc. and the City <br />of San Francisco is to be notified there of. <br />APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: <br />Specifications on the following pages are .written with the intent to comply with all applicable <br />clocuments and certifications, but the final responsibility to comply shall rest with the vendor and <br />not the City of San Francisco.
