EXHIBIT A I. HOURS OF WORK A. Working hours shall be from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. II. PLANS AND/OR SPECIFICATIONS A. Those specification submittals entitled FIRE STATION 11 EXTERIOR PAINTING and FIRE STATION 20 EXTERIOR PAINTING dated February 7, 2011 and are hereby made a part of this contract. B. The City's Standard Specifications and Details. C. Califomia Building Code —2010 shall be made a part of this Contract D. Califomia Electrical Code — 2010 shall be made a part of this Contract III. TIME OF COMPLETION, INSURANCE 8 BONDS A. Time of completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. , B. The contractor shall submit a certificate of insurance showing comprehensive workers' compensation and general liability insurance coverage in the amount of $1,000,000.00. Such certificate shall also name the City of Redwood City, its Council, Boards, Commissions, Officers, Agents and employees as additional insured on the policy as shown in paragraph 7 of the "AgreemenY'. C. Payment and performance bonds shall be required for this project (see Standard Bond Attachments). Other bond forms may be used, subject to approval prior to the start of work. IV. DAMAGES FOR DELAYS A. Liquidated damages, for the period of time that any portion of the work remains unfinished after the time fixed for completion in the Contract Documents, as modified by extensions of time granted by the Owner, it is understood as agreed by the Contractor and the Owner that the contractor shall pay the Owner Five hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($500.00) per day liquidated damages. V. SCOPE OF WORK A. Clean, pressure wash, grind, sand and/or wire brush all surtaces to be painted. B. Patch voids, seal cracks, and repair surfaces as necessary per specifications. C. Apply prime coat and two finish coats per the specifications. 9
