GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> 7.46.010 PURPOSE AND INTENT. If is �he p�rpose and intent of tf�is <br /> chapter to adopt and enforce rules consistent with the Compassionate Use Act <br /> and the Medical Marijuana Program Act, which rules will provide for �he heal�E�, <br /> safety and welfare of the public by regulating the collective cultivakian and <br /> possession of inedical marijuana within the City of 5an Mateo, consistent with <br /> state law. <br /> This Chapter is in�ended to be consistent with the Compassionate Use Act and <br /> the Medical Marijuana Program Act, and towards �hat end, it is not intended to <br /> and does not criminalize ac�ivi�y which is otherwise permitted under state law, <br /> and it is nat intended �o and does not au�horize cond�ct that is otherwise <br /> prohibited by state law.
