7.A. - Page 23 <br />7. The Registered Certificate Holder has failed to comply with one <br />or more of the health and safety requirements under this <br />chapter; <br />8. The Registered Certificate Holder has engaged in fraud, <br />misrepresentation, or false statements in obtaining or <br />maintaining a Certificate of registration. <br />The term of suspension shall be not more than sixty days. <br />Sec 18A.18. REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION OF CERTIFICATE <br />OF REGISTRATION -- INDIVIDUALS. <br />A. The Police Chief shall revoke or suspend a Certificates of Registration <br />issued to individuals upon the following grounds: <br />1. Certificate Holder is no longer in possession of a current and <br />valid State Certification or CAMTC issued identification card; <br />2. The Certificate Holder has engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, <br />or false statements in obtaining or maintaining a Certificate of <br />Registration. <br />The term of suspension of any permit shall be not more than sixty days. <br />Sec. 18A.19. SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION HEARING <br />A. A hearing shall be scheduled upon not less than 10 calendar day's notice <br />to the Registered Certificate Holder stating the grounds for proposed <br />revocation or suspension. Notice shall be given by personal service or <br />certified or registered mail to the address shown on the last application or <br />renewal. If reasonable attempts to otherwise serve are not successful, <br />service may be provided by first class mail. <br />Sec. 18A.20. APPEAL FROM DENIAL, REVOCATION, <br />SUSPENSION <br />The decision of the Chief of Police to deny, revoke or suspend a Certificate of <br />Registration may be appealed by the Registered Certificate Holder to the City <br />16 <br />A TTY /O R D. 359 /MA S SA G E <br />101711 <br />
