6.3.A. - Page 3 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />Attachment 1 <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 40.4.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />The City Council of the City of Redwood City does ordain as follows: <br />Section 1. The City Council finds as follows: <br />As part of its initiative to reduce costs and increase organizational efficiencies, the City <br />Council authorized a review of advisory boards, commissions, and committees and determined <br />to make certain changes to staffing and appointments of these boards, commissions including <br />the Historic Resources Committee. <br />Section 2. The following sections and subsections of the Redwood City Municipal <br />Code shown below are hereby amended by adding the text shown in bold italics (example) and <br />deleting the text shown in strikeout (example). Text in brackets [example] is explanatory and is <br />not part of the text. <br />Section 3. Section 40.4.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />SECTION 40.4.1. HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE: <br />The Commission shall appoint an Historic Resources Advisory Committee to advise and make <br />recommendations to the Commission in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter.
