We
anticipate that at least 4 Prevention Partnership organizations will emerge as
interested in leading intercultural community conversations that relate to
young people's use and abuse of alcohol and drugs. In addition, we can
support another 5-10 organizations in the CYDI Initiative to lead Community
Conversations addressing more general youth needs. These conversations
will be supported in a variety of ways: in existing meeting space, such as the
monthly Prevention Partnership gatherings and CYDI meetings; through
coaching with Sara Randauo and Maria Fernandez that builds their capacity
to support organizations; and one-on-one coaching via phone and face-to-face
meetings. An online communication system, as described below, can also be
a vehicle for ongoing support.
