� � � ;� <br /> TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AND REDWOOD CITY POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION lRCPOA) <br /> straigM-time rate of pay during the first six (6) months of service with the <br /> City and for the floating holidays thirteen (13) only upon completion of <br /> twelve (12) months' service with the City. <br /> The following shall be paid holidays to all employees who are covered by <br /> this MOU: • <br /> 1. New Year's Day <br /> 2. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (observed on the third Monday in <br /> January) <br /> 3. PresidenYs Day (Observed on the third Monday in February) <br /> 4. AAemorial Day (Observed on the last Monday in May) <br /> 5. Independence Day <br /> 8. Labor Day (Observed on the first Monday in September) <br /> 7. Veterans Day (Observed November 11) <br /> 8. Thanksgiving Day <br /> 9. �The Day after Thanksgiving <br /> 10. Christmas Eve <br /> 11. Christmas Day <br /> 12. New Years Eve <br /> 13. Two administrative holidays and such other days as may be <br /> proclaimed local holidays. <br /> If one of the holidays listed above fails during the employee's vacation or <br /> on an employee's day off w iF an employee is scheduled or required to <br /> work on a holiday, the employee shall be allowed a regular woAcday off at <br /> a time detertnined by agreement belween the employee and the <br /> Department Head. If the Department Head detertnines that it is not <br /> feasible to grant such other workday off, the employee shall be paid for the <br /> holiday on the basis of time and one-half (1-1/2) but not to exceed ten (10) <br /> hours for any one (1) holiday. <br /> In the event any of the holidays speafied in this section occurs while an <br /> employee is on vaqtion or sick leave, the holiday shall not be charged as <br /> vacation or sidc leave. <br /> June 9 2011 4 � <br />
