I� <br /> ; • , � I • <br /> TENTATIVE AGREEAAENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CI71f <br /> AND REDWOOD CITY POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION (RCPOA) <br /> 7.1 Salarv Increases ' <br /> 7.1.1 Effective with the first full pay period beginning on or after <br /> September 1, 2011, and on September 1 of each subsequent year <br /> of this agreemerrt satary increases shall be calculated by <br /> comparing the total compensaGon rates of Police Officers in <br /> Redwood City to the mean or median, whichever is greater in the <br /> following listed cities: MouMain �ew, Palo Atto, San Mateo, South <br /> San Francisco, Union Cfty, Milpitas and Santa Clara. The salary of <br /> the Redwood City Pofice O(ficers shall be increased so as to equal <br /> the mean or median, whichever is greater, of the salary survey. <br /> If Poliae Officers in Redwood City are less than 3% below the <br /> mean or median, whichever is greater, they shali receive a 3% <br /> salary increase. <br /> 7.1.2 The comparative calculation shall inGude top step base salary, <br /> emptoyee PERS paymeMs, educational inceMives, and heatth and <br /> wetfare contributions. Employee paymeMs toward employer PERS <br /> costs shall not be induded in the comparative calculation ouUined <br /> in 7.1.1. <br /> 7.1.3 In the everrt one or more of the above listed comparative citles is in <br /> labor negotiations due to tl�e expiration of their labor MOU and <br /> dces not have salary data available as of September 1 in each year <br /> of this agreement, the total compensation fador for those cities <br /> shall be equal to the Consumer Price Index for all Urban <br /> Consumers for the San Francisco/San Jose area for the preceding <br /> fiscal year. This factor shall be no less than 4% nor greater than <br /> 7% should the C.P.1. fall below or exceed these percentages. <br /> 7.1.4 The City shall implemeM',the resufts of the September 1, 2011, <br /> September 1, 2012, September 1, 2013, and September 7, 2014 <br /> survey effective the first full pay period beginning on or after <br /> September 1, 2011, September 1, 2012, September 1, 2013 and <br /> September 1, 2014 respectively. • <br /> 7.14 Holidays: <br /> Regular full-time employees shall be entitled to take all authorized holidays <br /> at full pay, not to exceed ten (10) hours, for any one (1) day, provided they <br /> are in a pay status ten (10) hours, as the case may be, on both their <br /> regularly scheduled workdays immediately preceding and following the <br /> holiday; and provided fu�ther that original probationary employees shall be <br /> eligible for the following holidays one (1) through twelve (12) only at the <br /> June 9 2011 3 <br />
