TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AND REDWOOD CITY MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION <br /> 19.3 Vision Care <br /> 7he City shall contract with Vision Service Plan (VSP) or a comparable vision care <br /> provider to provide vision care benefits for employees and their dependents. The Vision . <br /> service Plan B provides for an ,exam every 12 months, lenses every 12 months if <br /> needed, and frames every 2 years if needed. There is to be no deductible for <br /> employees, but a$20.00 per person deductible will apply to dependents each time <br /> benefits are available and will be paid by the employee. Effective October 1, 2011 <br /> throuqh December 31. 2011 the Citv will paV one hundred percent (100%1 of the dental <br /> insurance remium for eli ible em lo ees and de endents. Effective Janua 1 2012 <br /> the Citv will pav ninetv oercent (90%) of the vision insurance premium for eliqible <br /> emolovees and deqendents. <br /> ARTICLE 24 TERM <br /> 24.1 This Memorandum of Understanding, and any amendments to the rules and regulations <br /> and salary ordinance provisions 'enacted pursuant thereto; and, as reflected in this <br /> Memorandum of Understanding shall remain in effect for those employees employed in <br /> those classifications which comprise the Management Unit for the period October 1, <br /> 2010A5, and including September 30, 201388. <br /> June 22, 2011 - City <br /> Page 11 <br />
