a&2314_21 Work on a Holiday <br /> A Faaaager�eR4C0A unit member listed in 14.t9.1 above. who is required to work on any of the holidays <br /> listed in Section �&2a:�14.19.1 above, shall receive instead a paid day off on the workday either preceding <br /> or following the holiday as determined by the �eryaRa�enl-qea9Fire Chief. . <br /> 46:�414_22 Holiday During Vacation <br /> In the event any of the holidays specified in Section �§.��14.19.1 above occurs while an employee is on <br /> vacation or sick leave, the holiday shall not be charged as vacation or sick leave. <br /> �,2,514_23 Deferred Compensation <br /> The City shall contribute an amount equal to two percent (2%) of base <br /> monthly salary to a deferred compensation plan offered by the City. <br /> Employees on napay status will have this amount prorated based on total number of hours of no-pay status <br /> during the pay period. <br /> ARTICLE �75 <br /> HOURS OF WORK <br /> The regular workweek shall be forty (40) hours per week. The regular workweek for Battalion Chief on a shift <br /> schedule shall be ffty-six (56) hours per week. <br /> ARTICLE 4816 <br /> LEAVE PROVISIONS <br /> 45:476.7 Sick Leave <br /> ��76_7.7 Sick leave with pay shall be granted to all regular employees , at <br /> the rate of one (1) working day for each full calendar month of service from the commencement <br /> of their emplovment with ihe CiN. <br /> Battalion Chiefs who work a fifty-six (56) hour work week shall accrue sick leave at the rate of <br /> twenty-four (24) hours per month. Battalion Chiefs who work a forty (40) hour work week shall <br /> accrue sick leave at the rate of eight (S) hours a month. At retirement, Battalion Chiefs assigned <br /> to a forty (40) hour work week will have their accrued sick leave balance con0erted to a balance <br /> based on the fifty-six (56) hour rate and the retirement sick leave buyout will be paid using the <br /> fifty-six (56) hour rate of pay. <br /> Pursuant to Section �.816.9, an employee may also request family and medical leave if helshe <br /> is unable to perform his%her job because of a serious health condition, or needs to care for a <br /> child, following birth or placement, or needs to care for a spouse, domestic partner, child or <br /> parent who is seriously ill. . <br /> 20 <br />
