a , \ ' , � TENTATIVE AGREEMENT CITY OF REDWOOD CITY SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNAT(ONAL UNION (SEIU) LOCAL 521 Wastewater and non-wastewater classifications will be treated as combined classifications as described in Appendix A for the purposes of lavoff, bumqinq and the creation of senioritv lists described in Article 7. FIRE PREVENTION OFFICERS Upon mutual agreement of the City, IAFF and SEIU, the SEIU bargaining unit will be modified to exclude the Fire Prevention Officers (FPOs). FPOs will be transferred to the Fire unit represented by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION TO EMPLOYER PERS I SHARE: Effective the first full pay period beginning on or after February 1, 2012, each worker will pay two percent (2%) toward the employer contribution for pension, in accordance � with California Government Code Section 20516(f). � Effective the first full pay period beginning on or after February 1, 2013 and endinq the �av period includinq Januarv 31, 2014, each worker will pay an additional one and eight-tenths percent (1.8%) for a total of three and eight-tenths percent (3.8%) toward the employer contribution for pension; in accordance with California Government Code Section 20516(f). TWO TIER PENSION: � �`� � Workers hired before date of•amendment of Citv's contract with PERS: 2.7% at 55 pension formula for miscellaneous workers, calculated on 1 year highest compensation, worker pays member contribution ao� � �b Workers hired on or after dat�e of�amendment of Citv's contract with PERS: 2% at 60 pension formula for miscellaneous workers, calculated on average of 3 years highest pay, worker pays member contribution HOLIDAYS: Two Administrative holidays will not be granted in 2013. FURLOUGH: Between February 1, 2012 and January 31, 2013, workers will take one (1) unpaid furlough day. Effective February 1, 2013, workers will take three (3) unpaid furlough days per year.
