a�t���n��,� 7.C. - Page 7 <br /> In response to Planning Commissioner Holt's question, Ms. McClellan indicated that <br /> she had just recently purchased the home and added that she also lives across the <br /> street from Mr. Bursak. <br /> Ms. Jabba and Ms. Holt stated that the report was very through. <br /> Mr. Jany brought up the home's portico which had been altered, per original <br /> photographs, which is a character defining feature of the home. Chair Rolandelli <br /> noted that the home did have some alterations over the years; however, the overall <br /> character of the home is intact. Mr. Bursak noted that three homes in the <br /> neighborhood were built by the same builder with porticos. <br /> Ms. Eakin asked if the photos Ms. McClellan had were shared with the local history <br /> room. Ms. McClellan stated that she had not shared the photos with the local history <br /> room, but that she has many more as well as other important documents that she will <br /> give to the appropriate person at the Redwood City Local History room.. <br /> M/S: Holt/Bursak <br /> Motion to accept the document as complete and accurate <br /> Motion passed 5-0 <br /> M/S: Bursak/Jabba <br /> Motion to accept the document for the Planning Commission and City Council to <br /> designate the property as a local landmark. <br /> Motion passed 5-0 <br /> The next step is for the HRAC to meet on-site to determine whether a Mills Act would <br /> be applicable and if so, determine the yearly work plan. <br /> 4. Preserve America Grant (N. Jabba) <br /> Ms. Jabba asked that if the Committee had any changes to give them to her so she <br /> could make the revisions. Additionally, Ms. Jabba noted that the Committee will be <br /> submitting the application with all 5 categories completed. Mr. Bursak, Ms. Holt and <br /> Chair Rolandelli gave Ms. Jabba their mark-ups so that revisions could be made. <br /> Ms. Jabba noted that additional information can be submitted, but she will need to be <br /> informed about what it is, so she can include it in the application. <br /> Ms. Jabba talked about the next steps for the application in the next few months. <br /> Mr. Jany noted that he has additional photos and he will give them to Ms. Jabba to <br /> include in the application. <br /> Ms. Eakin asked if the word count will be included in the document. Ms. Jabba <br /> replied that word count will be removed. <br /> Mr. Jany stated the information relating to the benefits and consequences of <br /> becoming a"Preserve America Community" will need to be forwarded to the <br /> Planning Commission. Ms. Jabba stated that she will provide staff with a memo <br /> summarizing the reasons to recommend the application. <br /> Mr. Jany stated that Planning staff will purchase historical books pertaining to <br /> Redwood City to included in the application. <br />
