Motion passed 5-0 5. Main Street Historic District Expansion (Chairman Rolandelli) Chair Rolandelli referred to the items received by the HRAC members in their packets on the expanded Main Street District. Additionally, Chair Rolandelli asked Mr. Jany to prepare additional information for the committee on the proposed district, that being a historic. Mr. Jany noted that the City now has the capability to convert "hard copy" documents into electronic ones. 6. Oral Communications and Matters of Committee Interest: � Historic section of DEIR "Stanford in Redwood City" Project is anticipated to be reviewed by HRAC in March 2011 Mr. Jany noted that the Committee will be receiving the Draft Environmental Impact Report to review, which Maureen Riordan is processing. � 406 Stambaugh property — paint proposal Mr. Rogers gave an update and noted that he will schedule a onsite meeting when he is able to contact the property owner. • Resolution for Archives Committee? Mr. Jany noted that potential cuts may be made to certain committees due to the budget issue the City is experiencing. � 2301 Broadway Mr. Jany noted that the property owner, Mr. Boris Zats, is proposing to modify the design of the building to accomodate safety issues by moving the windows eight- inches forward and increasing the spacing between each window one and a half- inches on the second floor. Mr. Jany stated that he will check with the property owner to see if there is enough time for the committee to evaluate the windows with a special meeting. � National Historic Preservation Month Chair Rolandelli asked to put National Historic Preservation Month on the next agenda. Chair Rolandelli added that he has heard from five of the seven schools who have confirmed their participation in tours and he will begin scheduling the tours soon. Mr. Jany noted that the City will pay for the buses and food. Mr. Bursak noted that National Historic Preservation Month is in its 15 year. � Preservation seminar in Berkeley Chair Rolandelli noted that he and Mr. Jany attended a preservation seminar in Berkeley and the handouts from the seminar have been placed in the packets. � Santa Monica Historic Conference Ms. Jabba noted that there is a conference in Santa Monica on May 15-18, 2011 and asked if the City has money to send any of the members. Mr. Jany replied that that the City does not have the money to pay to send any members to the conference due to the City's budget issues, other than the registration fee. 7. Preliminary determination of boundaries for potential historic district for a historic survey of the area generally known as the "Mt.
