Main Street Historic District Expansion (Chairman Rolandelli) <br /> Chair Rolandelli referred to the items received by the HRAC members in their <br /> packets on the expanded Main Street District. Additionally, Chair Rolandelli asked <br /> Mr. Jany to prepare additional information for the committee on the proposed district, <br /> that being a historic. <br /> Mr. Jany noted that the City now has the capability to convert "hard copy" documents <br /> into electronic ones. <br /> 6. Oral Communications and Matters of Committee Interest: <br /> � Historic section of DEIR "Stanford in Redwood City" Project is anticipated <br /> to be reviewed by HRAC in March 2011 <br /> Mr. Jany noted that the Committee will be receiving the Draft Environmental <br /> Impact Report to review, which Maureen Riordan is processing. <br /> � 406 Stambaugh property — paint proposal <br /> Mr. Rogers gave an update and noted that he will schedule a onsite meeting <br /> when he is able to contact the property owner. <br /> • Resolution for Archives Committee? <br /> Mr. Jany noted that potential cuts may be made to certain committees due to the <br /> budget issue the City is experiencing. <br /> � 2301 Broadway <br /> Mr. Jany noted that the property owner, Mr. Boris Zats, is proposing to modify the <br /> design of the building to accomodate safety issues by moving the windows eight- <br /> inches forward and increasing the spacing between each window one and a half- <br /> inches on the second floor. Mr. Jany stated that he will check with the property <br /> owner to see if there is enough time for the committee to evaluate the windows <br /> with a special meeting. <br /> � National Historic Preservation Month <br /> Chair Rolandelli asked to put National Historic Preservation Month on the next <br /> agenda. Chair Rolandelli added that he has heard from five of the seven schools <br /> who have confirmed their participation in tours and he will begin scheduling the <br /> tours soon. Mr. Jany noted that the City will pay for the buses and food. Mr. <br /> Bursak noted that National Historic Preservation Month is in its 15 year. <br /> � Preservation seminar in Berkeley <br /> Chair Rolandelli noted that he and Mr. Jany attended a preservation seminar in <br /> Berkeley and the handouts from the seminar have been placed in the packets. <br /> � Santa Monica Historic Conference <br /> Ms. Jabba noted that there is a conference in Santa Monica on May 15-18, 2011 <br /> and asked if the City has money to send any of the members. Mr. Jany replied <br /> that that the City does not have the money to pay to send any members to the <br /> conference due to the City's budget issues, other than the registration fee. <br /> 7. Preliminary determination of boundaries for potential historic district for a <br /> historic survey of the area generally known as the "Mt. Carmel Neighborhood" <br /> leading to a consideration of a potential CLG Grant Application (2011) for the <br /> subject work <br /> Due to a lack of quorum on the item, a coin was tossed to determine which member <br /> of the committee who lived within the potential boundaries of the Mt. Carmel Historic <br />
