RESOLUTION 1 . 11- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY APPROVING A VESTING TENTATIVE MAP <br />PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA NIA SUBDI ISI N MAP ACT AND THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL CODE <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City 'of Redwood d City <br />("Commission") is empowered by Chapter 30 o f the City of Redwood d Cit <br />Municipal Code to acct upon applications for tentative subdivision maps, as <br />provided for by the State Subdivision Harp Act and the Chapter 30 of the <br />Redwood City Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 27, 2011, the Commission considered and <br />approved an initial study prepared by the City's Planning Department in <br />accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br />("CEQA")and, barred on the approved initial study, considered and adopted <br />mitigated negative declamation in compliance with all CE QA requirements, as part <br />of the City's consideration of Tentative Parcel Map Application No. TM2 O - 3; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, on September 27, 2011, the Commission conducted a public <br />hearing, in accordance with all applicable requirements of the Subdivision Map <br />Act and the Redwood City Municipal Code, to consider Tentative Parcel Map <br />Application No. TM2 O9 -03, and received and considered oral and documentary <br />evidence in favor of or opposed to the application; and <br />WHEREAS, EAS, the Commission has determined that the proposed Tentative <br />Parcel Map would farther the purposes of and appropriately implement the North <br />Mann Street Precise Plan adopted by the City Council on August 2, 2007. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, F E, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the above recitals are <br />accurate and, together with the Staff Report and the application materials, <br />including without limitation the IS MN , development plan, affordable housin <br />plan, vesting tentative map, and all other documents, reports, studies, <br />memoranda, maps, oral and written testimony, and materials in the City's file for <br />the applications and the Project, and all adopted City planning documents <br />relating to the Project and the property including the City's General Plan, North <br />Main Street Precise Plain, Zoning Ordinance, and other applicable City laws and <br />regulations, and all associated approved and certified environmental documents, <br />have together served as an adequate and appropriate evidentiary basis for the <br />findings and actions set forth in this Resolution. <br />n. <br />ATTY/RESO.2166/333 MAIN STREET VESTING T MAP <br />092711 <br />1 <br />
