EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> AND <br /> SCHEDULE OF WORK <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> Consultant shall prepare an intersection design for improvements to the intersection of <br /> Middlefield Road and Woodside Road including but not limited to civil and traffic <br /> engineering and land surveying services for proposed pedestrian and bicycle mobility <br /> improvements to the intersection. Consultant shall design such intersection to conform <br /> to "Variation 3" from Fehr & Peers traffic report dated August, 2011. <br /> Landscape plans are not currently part of this scope of work. The City may, at City's <br /> discret+on, amend this agreement to include the Landscape plans, as part of the <br /> Streetscape Project, at some later time. No additional work shall be performed without a <br /> written amendment to this Agreement. <br /> Consultant shall design such project for a cost of constructing intersection <br /> improvements of Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($700,000). ConsultanYs cost <br /> estimates will be used by City staff to assess project feasibility. <br /> DESIGN: <br /> TASK 7-- BASE MAPPING AND PROJECT INITIATION <br /> Consultant shall: <br /> 1. Reference aerial topography as provided by Bellecci & Associates under separate <br /> agreement for services on the Middlefield Road Underground Utilities District. <br /> 2. Perform one day of supplemental survey on same coordinate system to tie-in <br /> drainage inlets, curb returns and walkway conforms. <br /> 3. Reference utility mapping as provided by Bellecci & Associates under separate <br /> agreement for services on the Middlefield Road Underground Utilities District. <br /> 4. Review Fehr & Peers' traffic report. <br /> Deliverable: <br /> a. Complete survey three (3) weeks from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) <br /> TASK 2-- 65% SUBMITTAL (CITY REVIEW ONLY) <br /> Consultant shall: <br /> 1. Prepare draft layout using Caltrans standard lane widths with bicycle pockets. <br /> 2. Prepare Base Geometry based on Traffic Study. Road right-of-way will be shown <br /> based on County Assessor's maps. <br /> 3. Provide opportunity for City staff to review and comment on layout plot (35% "over- <br /> the-shoulder " review) at Bellecci & Associates' offices. <br /> 4.
