SUMMARY OF FINDINGS <br /> Finding 2011-01: Filing of required annual reports <br /> Criteria: <br /> Healtll and Safety Code Section 33080.1 requires tllat the Redevelopnlent Agency file various reports to the <br /> State Controller's Office of California within six nlontlls of t11e fiscal year end. <br /> Condition: <br /> During the performance of the audit, we noted that the Redevelopment Agency 11ad filed all of the required <br /> reports. However the listuzg of fiscal years that t11e Agency expects various time limits to expire that is <br /> included as part of the Agency's financial statements, did not include the time linut for the comnlencement <br /> for eminent domain proceedings to acquire property within the project area. <br /> Cause: <br /> The Pedevelopnlent Agency was not aware of the requireinent to uzclude the aUove nlentioned tinle linut uz <br /> their �znual reports. <br /> Context and Effect: <br /> T11e Redevelopineilt Ageilcy will not be u1 conlpliance wit11 Section 33080.1 of the Healtll aild Safety Code. <br /> Questioned Costs: <br /> Not applicable. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> We recommend that the Agency include the above mentioned time limit in the Agency's arulual reports. <br /> Mana�ement Resnonse: <br /> Managenlent will disclose tllese timelines uz future financial reports including tlle Redevelopment Agency's <br /> Basic Financial Statenlents. <br /> 53 <br />
