Plan oals, obi ectives and <br />g J <br />policies relating to land use. <br />Find in rs : The City hereby m kes Finding (1), <br />Facts in Support of Findings: <br />(a) According to the City's General Plan, the City's land use goal is to "integrate a. <br />range of land uses -to ensure that .Redwood City is a desirable place to live." The <br />Project will help to meet this goal by providing employment opportunities within <br />a pleasant, campus -like setting that will m inimize adverse effects on adjacent <br />properties. <br />(b) The Project . is consistent with the land use designations contained in the <br />Genera - T Plan. The site is designated for "Office ce Park oriented Uses." The Ci 's <br />t3' <br />"Findings of Consistency with the General Plan ", which accompany the Project <br />approvals, are hereby incorporated by reference. <br />(c) The Project site is zoned Commerc.ial Park .(CP) District and Professional <br />Office (PO). The CP.District. is intended to provide a district for large scale <br />. <br />office and aft . inistrative uses and buildings to promote the development of <br />employment and .a 'strative activities." The ProJ ject is consistent with the CP <br />District, which covers most of the Project site. The Project is also consistent with <br />the PO designation, which covers an area :of the site used for the extension of <br />Shoreline Drive,a landscaped buffer and part of a parking garage.
