the City Clerk within fifteen days of the date of the Notice of Final <br /> Decision. No appeal fee shall be required for such councilmember <br /> request. Upon receiving a request for such review from two City <br /> Councilmembers, the City Clerk shall place the item on the next <br /> available City Council agenda, as determined by the City Manager. <br /> Such Councilmembers' requests shall be processed and heard by the <br /> City Council as an appeal to the City council, in the same manner as <br /> an appeal as set forth in Chapter 1, Article III of the Redwood City <br /> Municipal Code. If Council members request review, there is a <br /> presumption that the reason for the review is that the action has <br /> significant and material effects on the quality of life within Redwood <br /> City. No inference of bias shall be made or implied due to such a <br /> request for review being filed by Council members. <br /> 48.4 Method of Appeal. <br /> Every appeal must be made in writing on forms provided by the City and filed <br /> with the City Clerk within fifteen (15) days of the date of the notice of final <br /> decision or determination of the body or official whose action is being appealed. <br /> The appeal shall state the grounds upon which the appeal is made and shall be <br /> accompanied by any supporting information, materials and documents the <br /> appellant requests be considered by the reviewing body during the appeal <br /> hearing. <br /> 48.5 Fee. <br /> An appeal shall be accompanied by a filing fee in an amount established by <br /> resolution of the City Council. Such filing fees shall not be refundable. <br /> 48.6 Hearing Date. <br /> For matters being appealed to the City Council, the City Clerk shall set the <br /> appeal to be heard at the next available City Council meeting, as determined by <br /> the City Manager, but not more than ninety days from the date of the appeal. For <br /> matters being appealed to the Planning Commission, the Community <br /> Development Director shall set the appeal to be heard at the next available <br /> Planning Commission meeting, as determined by the Planning Manager, but not <br /> more than sixty days from the date of the appeal. <br /> 48.7 Appeal Hearing <br /> Appeals shall be processed and heard by the reviewing body in accordance with <br /> the provisions set forth in Chapter 1 Article III of the Redwood City Municipal <br /> Code. <br /> //! <br /> /// <br /> ATTY/ORD.357/AMENDING ARTICLE 48 OF THE RWC ZONING CODE <br /> REV:12/13/11 <br /> 2 <br />
