B. - Page 157 • Parking ✓ The project proposes parking consistent with the City's zoning ordinance. ■Response to Issues Raised in Comment Letters: •Construction Impacts ✓ Construction traffic would be less than project traffic and the project would be required to comply with standard City regulations regarding construction truck traffic (Municipal Code Chapter 24) • Bicycle corridors ✓ The project will not preclude the future use of the Hetch-Hetchy ROW as a bicycle corridor. ■Response to Issues Raised in Comment Letters: • Air Quality • Identification of existing pollutant sources in the project area • Dust and pollutants during construction • Methodology of Toxic Air Contaminants (TAC) analysis ✓ BAAQMD is the regional agency with primary responsibility for regulating pollutant emissions and regulating and maintaining air quality. The air quality analysis for the proposed project followed all BAAQMD recommended methods. ■Issues Raised in Comment Letters: • Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) • Inconsistent baseline ✓ It was found that the baseline conditions for the GHG Emissions analysis was inconsistent with the rest of the document. GHG emissions were recalculated using the correct baseline. The conclusion of the Draft EIR did not change as a result of the reanalysis. • Cultural Resources • Mitigation for subsurface work within the Caltrans ROW ✓ Caltrans requested additional mitigation for subsurface work within their ROW. This mitigation was added to the project as a text amendment to the Final EIR. •Geological • Mitigation of expansive soils within the Caltrans ROW ✓ Mitigation was proposed in Draft EIR for all geological conditions • Hazardous Materials • Discussion of asbestos and lead-based paint impacts ✓ Impacts from asbestos and lead-based paint were addressed in the Draft EI R • Visual Intrusion Page 7 of 17
