Council Member Pierce - Reported on attending an Economic Development and <br />the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency AWSCA . she talked <br />about social nobility and regional and global competition and hoar education can <br />be a magnet to attract people to this community. She also attended the High <br />Speed Rail presentation at the Chamber of Commerce and a multi -modal station <br />that is planned for San Francisco. This topic will be on the November 2008 <br />ballot. she spoke about the last Forum at the Fox Theatre and hoer the speaker <br />had great knowledge to share. She would life Interim City Manager Ingram to <br />communicate with Mr. Seth on how to attract retail business. <br />Mayor Foust an n ou. noed that the library Foundation is only $10,000 short of its goal for the <br />Redwood Shores Library. She was a ppreciative of all the donations and generosity <br />exp b ma ny. <br />9.
