Consultant shall submit final structural calculations, stamped and wet signed by a
California Professional Engineer (Mr. Eidinger or Dr. Duggan for civil and structural
work).
Consultant will develop structural details for the various equipment anchorage and
restraint upgrades. Consultant will provide a cover sheet listing these upgrades, which
will include general notes as well as a table indicating the quantities and locations. The
drawings will show photos of the item(s) to be modified, as well as details of the
modifications.
For the structural modifications for the Carson and Cambridge pump station roof
systems, Consultant will show outlines of the existing building, and details of the
modifications (generally, new plywood and rood as needed, blocking and nailing
schedules).
To limit the drafting effort, site drawings for equipment upgrades will not be created. A
Table will be included for equipment upgrades, to direct the contractor for the locations
of the items to be modified; photos will show the existing item to be modified. The
design details will show the primary upgrade concept, tailored to allow adjustment in the
field to reflect field dimensions. Special inspection will be required during construction to
verify that the actual equipment installations meet the intent of the design.
Final drawings shall be in 24x36 inch format.
The potential list of drawings is listed in Table 4.
Item Number of Potential Drawing List for Contract Documents
Drawin s
General 1
Notes
Anchorage / 3 Batteries; MCCs; Generators; Pipe
Restraint
Structural 2 Details of structural im rovements of the roof s stem
Curbs / 2 1 for Sequoia site, 1 for Cambridge site
Berms
Total 8
Table 4.
