C � � � 1��, <br /> 7.4 Warehouse Demolition <br /> An existing wuehouse, approximately 300 ft by 100 ft in plan, is located on shore and will be <br /> demolished as part of Contractor's scope on this project. A hazazdous materials survey oFthis <br /> building has been perforxned and will be included with the RFP package. <br /> 7.5 Longshoreman's Building <br /> To accommodate Longshoreman servicing both the aggregate berth and the cement berth, a new <br /> Longshoreman's building will be constructed as part of this pmject. This building will be a single <br /> story building of approximately 2,000 square Feet. It will contain offices, restrooms, storage space, <br /> and a break room. Necessary utilities will need to be connected to this building by the design-build <br /> team. The Contractor is responsible for final design and construction of this building. <br /> 7.6 Site Civil and Utility Improvements <br /> A number of site civil and utility improvements are associated with this project. These improvements <br /> include grading, paving, fencing, electrical systems, storm water systems, lighting, and water <br /> systems. The Contractor will be responsible for verifying the location of eacisting utilities and <br /> performing the upgrades specified in the RFP package. <br /> 8 Permits <br /> Pemut applications have been submitted to the Bay Conservarion and Development Commission, the <br /> San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Boazd, and the United States Army Corps of <br /> Engineers. <br /> 8.1 Bay Conservation and Development Commission <br /> The Port has determined the project requires a Major Permit from BCDC. This permit was applied for <br /> on November 18, 2011 and the permit fee paid. The Port and the Port's consultants have provided <br /> BCDC with the necessary informarion to evaluate the project for this Major permit and have met with <br /> BCDC's Engineering Criteria Review Boazd to review design aspects of the project. Pemut issuance <br /> is anticipated in April of 2012. <br /> 8.2 San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> A water quality certificarion by the RWQCB is required for this project. The Port applied for this <br /> certification on November 18, 2011 and have subsequently met with RWQCB representatives and <br /> inspected the site. The permit fee has been paid and issuance of the water quality certification is <br /> anticipated in April of 2012. <br /> 83 United States Army Corps of Engineers <br /> The project requires a Department of Army Permit. This permit was applied for on November 18, <br /> 2011. As part of this permit application, Section 7 consultation with the US Fish and Wildlife Service <br /> as well as Narional Marine Fisheries was requested. The PoR has meet with the USACE and <br /> inspected the site. Issuance of the Depaztment of Army Permit is anticipated in April of 2012. <br /> Pogs 9 d f6 <br /> y+. <br /> f �F�/ <br />
