The Council could advise staff to conduct further research and recommend <br />alternative organizational structure and classification changes. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The cost of reclassifying the two Fire Prevention Officers into the newly established <br />classification of Deputy Fire Marshal will be approximately $8,000 for fiscal year 11 -12, <br />which will be covered by funds currently available in the fire department budget due to a <br />current vacancy within the fire department.
