Amendments to Section 11 — Probationary Period <br />11.1 Probationary Period <br />Change the word "employee" to "Fire Fighter /Engineers" in each of the first <br />three paragraphs. <br />Insert a fourth paragraph noting a 12 month probationary period for Deputy <br />Fire Marshal and Fire Prevention Officers. <br />11. Amendments to Section 18 - Leaves <br />18.1.4 Sick Leave Accrual <br />In the first sentence after "one thousand nine hundred twenty (1920) hours ", <br />add "for 56 -hour employees, and nine hundred sixty (960) hours for 40 -hour <br />employees" <br />12. Industrial Disability Leave (To be added to Section 18.4) <br />The City will comply with Labor Code section 4850 as required by law in <br />regard to the Deputy Fire Marshal and Fire Prevention Officer classifications. <br />This side letter will expire simultaneously with the 2010 -13 Memorandum of Understanding <br />(MOU) between the parties.
