6.3.C. - Page 3 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION PLAN <br />TO ESTABLISH THE CLASSIFICATION OF ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT MANAGER <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that the position of Economic <br />Development Manager be established; and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that the position should be created to support <br />economic development initiatives according to the needs of the organization; and <br />WHEREAS, the classification specifications of Economic Development Manager <br />were prepared by the Human Resources Department and the City Manager to ensure <br />the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that the Economic Development Manager <br />classification should be an executive management position and established with a pay <br />range of $10,745 to $13,641 per month; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2.
