The Council could take no action and advise staff to continue using existing <br />classifications for economic development functions. <br />2. The Council could advise staff to do further evaluation and recommend <br />alternative classification changes. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The Economic Development Manager position will be funded by the existing salary <br />budget for City Manager's office as outlined in the 2011 -2012 budget amendment. The <br />Economic Development Manager position salary represents an increase of <br />approximately $47,000 over the existing budget for Community Development <br />Supervisor.
