Pledges <br />Pledges over a period of several years are a necessary factor in making <br />possible in every level the size of gifts essential to success in a capital <br />campaign. The standard provided for payment of pledges will be a maximum <br />of five years. - Provisions should be made for extending the payments beyond <br />that in special cases. <br />E. Prospect Identification and Rating <br />Because the number of prospects is not sufficient, prospect identification and <br />rating will be vital to the success of the campaign. In particular, intensive <br />efforts will be made on the part of the campaign development officers need <br />to be undertaken immediately and extend through the pre - public phase. An <br />explanation of the rating process is offered in Appendix III. <br />F. Gifts Credit <br />All pledges and gifts will be recorded in the donor perfect software. <br />G. Naming Opportunities <br />Named and memorial gift opportunities are available to donors and <br />encourages and recognizes support. A summary of the naming opportunities <br />are listed in the Capital Campaign Brochure. <br />H. Prospect Management <br />Management of prospects will be accomplished under the Redwood City PAL <br />development office. <br />I. Matching Funds <br />Redwood City PAL will apply for all matching funds as noted on gift cards. <br />
