CDM will also prioritize facility improvements to <br />include meeting any future regulatory goals. <br /> <br />Task 5 - O & M Manual - CDM will prepare a operation and maintenance manual for the <br />primary facilities and dewatering structures that will describe the plan and will include: <br /> <br />· The existing frequency of maintenance by the City staff. <br />· The type of maintenance that is currently being performed. <br />· Recommended actions to be taken to increase the level of maintenance. <br />· Recommended procedure for monitoring that can be used to help schedule pump <br /> operation to minimize power costs. <br />· Operation and maintenance staffing needs. <br /> <br />The results of Task 1 through 4 will be presented as an attachment to the manual. The <br />manual will have approximately 20 pages. Three draft copies will be provided to the City for <br />review. Following receipt of comments from the City, the manual will be finalized and 10 <br />copies will be submitted to the City. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />CDM is available to provide additional services that could include: <br /> <br />· For the secondary facilities at Redwood Shores Lagoon: perform a condition assessment, <br /> formulate a preventative maintenance program, and work with the City staff to develop a <br /> replacement schedule. <br /> <br />· Formulate an emergency response sanitary sewer spill response plan. <br /> <br />SCHEDULE <br />We will perform the Task 1 inspection with the City staff during September 2003, based upon <br />receipt of authorization by the end of August 2003. We will endeavor to complete Tasks 1, 2, 3 <br />and 4 within three months if meetings with City staff can be conveniently arranged. The Task <br />5 technical memorandum can be completed within three weeks following the completion of <br />Task 4. <br /> <br /> <br />
