BEFORE THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION <br /> OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />Application of the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ) <br />for an order authorizing construction of an at-grade ) <br />pedestrian crossing across the westbound and eastbound ) <br />PCJPB railroad tracks at the Sequoia Shopping Center in ) <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo ) <br /> <br /> APPLICATION <br /> <br />This petition of the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY respectfully shows that: <br /> <br /> 1. The exact legal name of the applicant is the city of Redwood City, a <br /> <br />Municipal Corporation of the State of California, incorporated May 11, 1867. <br /> <br /> 2. Correspondence in regard to this application should be addressed to: <br /> <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> P.O. Box 391 <br /> Redwood City, CA 94064 <br /> Attention: Mr. Curtis M. Luck, City Engineer <br /> (415) 780-7377 <br /> <br /> 3. The applicant requests authorization to establish an at-grade pedestrian <br /> <br />crossing across the westbound and eastbound Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board <br />(PCJPB) railroad tracks near the Redwood City CalTrain passenger station and <br />opposite an entrance to the Sequoia Shopping Center. Said application is made in <br />accordance with the Rules of Practice and Procedure, State of California Public utilities <br />Commission. <br /> <br /> 4. The applicant proposes to construct an at-grade pedestrian crossing <br />across the westbound and eastbound PCJPB's main tracks near the Redwood City <br />CalTrain passenger station.
