DES:dft:mgl ~/23/95 (052/38) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to, and reviewed <br />by, this Council pursuant to which the parties shall exercise <br />jointly their authority to provide public recreational facilities <br />and pursuant to which the District shall provide a K-5 elementary <br />classroom facility utilizing the Sandpiper Park Site and Egret <br />Lane Parcel, all for the benefit of residents of the City and the <br />District; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That certain agreement by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation, and the Belmont Elementary <br />School District, entitled, "Joint Use Agreement Between the City <br />of Redwood City and the Belmont Elementary School District <br />Regarding Joint Use of the Sandpiper Park Site" (form dated March <br />__, 1995), providing for the joint exercise of power of the <br />parties to provide public recreational facilities and the <br />establishment and operation of a K-5 elementary school facility <br />by the District, using the Sandpiper Park Site and the Egret Lane <br />Property, subject to terms and conditions therein specified, a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City <br />Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and attest <br />thereto, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
