Assure that Public Works maintenance operations are competitive and run in a <br /> safe, reliable, and e�cient manner. <br /> 8. Facilitate planning of capital improvement projects to replace, upgrade and <br /> maintain city utility and street systems. <br /> 9. Coordinate work of the division with the Community Development Department, <br /> private contractors and other public agencies. <br /> 10. Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and judicial mandates, <br /> regulations and professional standards. <br /> 11. Assure that employee development, safety and training programs are designed <br /> and successfully implemented. <br /> OTHER JOB RELATED DUTIES <br /> 1. Manage and coordinate activities at the Municipal Services Center, including <br /> space allocations, security, yard maintenance and cleanliness, and building and <br /> grounds utilization. <br /> 2.
