6.5.A. - Page 12 <br /> (d) "Prepackaged faod" means any properly labeled processed food, prepackaged to <br /> prevent any direct human contact with the foad product u�on distribution firom the <br /> man�facturer, and prepared at an approved source. <br /> {e) "Prepared food" means faod or �everages, which are serviced, packaged, <br /> caoked, chapped, slicec[, mixed, brewed, frozen, squeezed ar otherwise prepared. <br /> Pre�ared food does not inciude �ggs, fish, meat, paultry, and foods containing <br /> these raw animal foods requiring cookir�g by the consumer as recomrnended by <br /> the Food and Drug Adminisfration. <br /> 4.'Ea7.�30 Prohibited use polystyrene-based disposa�[e food service ware. <br /> No food vendor shall use polystyrene-based disposable food 5ervice ware when <br /> pro�iding preparecf faod. <br /> 4.707.040 Exemptior�s. <br /> (a) Prepackaged fooci is exempt from the pro�isians of tF�is chapter. <br /> (�) Polystyrene coolers and ice chests intended far reus� are exempt from the <br /> provision� of this chapter. <br /> (c) Food vendors at the San Francisco Internationa! Airpart are exempt from t}�e <br /> �ro�isions of ti�is chapter. <br /> 4.�07.050 Fteq�est ForAn Exemption. <br /> Any food vendor may �eek an exemptian from the requiremenfis of this chapter upon <br /> demonstrating that strict ap�fication of the req�irements woUld cause undue harcEship. <br /> (a) An "undue hardship" sha11 be found in: <br /> (1) Situatians unique to the food vendor wf�ere a su�table alternative daes not <br /> �xist for a specific app[icafian; and/or <br /> �� �r��� <br /> . �� `.�h. <br />
