. <br /> 1. Foster a cross sector coalition and strengthen an immigrant integation messaging <br /> campaign, through the public launch of the "Redwood Ciry Together" initiative. This <br /> lazge-scale community-wide messaging campaign will highlight the strengths and <br /> contributions of immigrants and longer-term residents in the community. <br /> 2. Engage immigrants and longer term residenu in civic engagement acdvities and <br /> promote involvement of the broader community in developing a strong cohoR of <br /> Community Ambassadors that will communicace the message of the inivative and invite <br /> other members of [he community to take action on issues. <br /> 3. Develop a powerful and inFluential voice of irtunigrant youth in local and state <br /> advocacy efforts, promoting immigrant youths' access [o leaming and growth <br /> opportunities as well as their personal pursuit of higher education and meaningful <br /> employment. <br /> Activities: <br /> 1. ConduM an outreach and communications campaign by working with an expert <br /> consul[ant, Heath Wickline, to produce communications materials for the public and <br /> [argeted low income�ommunities. <br /> - 2. Recruit a diverse cohort of Community Ambassadors in leadership development and <br /> provide coaching and support as [hey engage other communiry members in civic <br /> action. Koshland Fellows will serve as mentors and resources. <br /> 3. Organiu events and advocacy campaigns with immigran[ youth leaders for upcoming <br /> legislation; make presentations to local eluted bodies on issues facing immigrant <br /> youth through five youth�reated digital s[ories funded by TSFF Koshland Ans Mini- <br /> Grants program. <br /> 4. Engage RWC 2020 policy makers and insritutional leaders by providing informa[ion <br /> and policy recommendauons based on civic engagement activities as well as the Iceal <br /> advocacy work by youth and adults. <br /> Q. REPORTING REOUIREMENTS AND PAYMENT SCI-�DULE <br /> Payments will be made on the schedule below if special conditions described above are <br /> met and it nanarive and financial reports have been submitted on the da[es reques[ed. <br /> Report guidelines and forms are available on the Foundation's website at <br /> wwwsff.org/gcantseekedforms.
