DES:dj' 01/04/95 (062/39) <br /> 1/16/95 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 12394 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CONDEMNING BUILDING AT 309 HELLER STREET <br /> AS A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND DIRECTING ABATEMENT THEREOF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Redwood City <br />has determined that a single family dwelling which is located <br />at 309 Heller Street (Assessors Parcel Number ["APN"] <br />053-145-160) Redwood City, is a public nuisance as defined by <br />Section 9.5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City in that it <br />has become manifestly unsafe for the purpose for which it was <br />intended to be used; has become unfit for human occupancy and <br />is unsanitary because of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, <br />decay and damage; has been maintained in violation of specific <br />regulatory requirements and prohibitions applicable thereto and <br />constitutes a dangerous building and fire hazard as those terms <br />are described in Section 9.5 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City and endangers the life, health, property and safety of the <br />public; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Building Official has given notice to the <br />owner of said building to appear before this Council to show <br />cause, if any, why said building should not be declared a <br />public nuisance and abated in accordance with the provisions of <br />Chapter 9 of the Code of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 16, 1995, hearing was held on the <br />question of the condition of said structure and the estimated <br />costs of its reconstruction, repair or removal, at which <br />hearing the Building Official, the owner of said building and <br /> <br /> <br />
