Once you've completed all the initial grant requirements, we can work with <br /> you to develop communications that announce our new or continued partnership. We ask that <br /> you keep us apprised of your public and media relations plans throughout the course of the <br /> grant cycle so that we can continue to promote your good work. <br /> Press Release <br /> UWBA's Director of Public Relations can help with creating a media strategy for distributing a <br /> mutually agreed upon joint statement to the local media announcing the grant/partnership. Once <br /> your MOU is signed, you may be contacted by our public relations team who can work with you <br /> to develop the press release: <br /> Maria Stokes, Director of Public Relations <br /> tel: 415.808.4264, email: mstokes@uwba.org <br /> Link-Exchange Program <br /> Participating in UWBA's link-exchange program is a great way to promote your organization. <br /> Please provide a short description (50-100 words) about your organization and your logo in <br /> electronic format (.jpg file preferred). UWBA will add this information to our website's grantee <br /> page with a link to your website. In exchange we ask you tc, add a link on your site to <br /> www.uwba.org. UWBA's logo can be downloaded from our web site at www.uwba.org/toolkit <br /> Email announcement <br /> Another way to garner continued visibility for your work is to distribute an email to your <br /> constituents and your board of directors announcing the UWBA grant. UWBA's Brand <br /> Management Team is happy to work with you to draft this announcement if you desire <br /> assistance. <br /> Help us spread awareness of vour work in other circles. <br /> Testimonials and Success Stories <br /> Personal stories about how your program and our partnership improves the lives of individuals <br /> and families throughout the Bay Area are the most compelling way to capture the attention of <br /> the media, the public and donors. We share these stories in our marketing materials, where we <br /> highlight the great results that donor dollars support. <br /> Please be sure to share at least one client success story (written o�•verbal). A written story will <br /> be required as part of the final report. Instructions for summarizing client success stories are <br /> provided in the "Final Program Report" form. <br /> Speaking Engagements <br /> As a grantee, you will be invited to join United Way's Spsaker's Bureau, which annually <br /> organizes presentations at Bay Area workplaces during UWBA's fundraising campaign.
