! <br /> <br /> FXS:dft If ~5/94 (020/38) <br /> <br /> ~--0 R I G I N A L 10/10/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12349 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEEDS AND <br /> APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF DEEDS OF <br /> EASEMENT FOR STORM DRAINAGE PURPOSES <br /> <br /> (PORTION OF PATHWAY - HIGHLANDS OF EMERALD LAKE <br /> SUBDIVISION ONE) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of 3548 and 3556 Highland Avenue, have <br />requested that the City quitclaim any interest the City may have <br />in that certain pathway (the "Pathway") located between said <br />residences, within Highlands of Emerald Lake Subdivision One, the <br />map of which is filed in Volume 13 of Maps, at pages 24-27, <br />Records of San Mateo County, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is now located within the Pathway a storm <br />drainage pipe, used and maintained by the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of record of the properties known as <br />3548 and 3556 Highland Avenue, respectively, each propose to <br />convey to the City a deed of easement over the Pathway for the <br />maintenance and repair of the storm drainage pipe; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the value of the property interests proposed to be <br />received by the City equal or exceed the value of the property <br /> <br />interests to be conveyed; <br /> NOW; THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and deliver a Quitclaim Deed to the respective owners of <br />3548 and 3556 Highland Avenue, conveying the City's interests, if <br />any, in the Pathway, reserving and excepting therefrom any and <br /> <br /> <br />
